Packing Guidelines –Euro 2015
Well,
it's about time you started planning out what to pack for your Euro 2015 Tour.
It's never too early to start! Here's a guide on what to pack as well as some
helpful tips to make sure your trip runs smoothly.
- Wear a passport pouch to carry
your passport, money and credit cards.
- No Purses! There is a high chance
they could be stolen or lost. Likewise anything carried in your pockets.
Be vigilant.
- One suitcase (on wheels preferably)
per traveler. No taller than 26 inches. You will be carrying it up and
down stairs at your hotel and also helping load it on and off of buses.

- Overweight bag:
$100 CAD/USD (per direction) for bags between 23-32kg (50-70lb)
- Oversized bag:
$100 CAD/USD (per direction) for bags between 160-292cm (63-115in)
- If
a bag is both overweight and oversized, the fee is charged is
substanbtial.
- EF backpack packed flat in bottom
of suitcase or carryon.
- You will not need dress
pants per se, but remember we will be dressing respectable while at a couple
of the ceremonies but there is no dress protocol such as dress pants and
skirts. Use your own good
judgement and remember no ripped jeans on those days(Groesbeek and Jewish
Memorials)
- 2 pairs of comfortable shoes(up to
you…just make sure they are comfortable)
- Layers
and rain gear…toques, gloves, etc..you never know in Europe what weather
you will deal with…
- 1 hairdryer per room
- Bringing personal computers IS NOT
recommended
- Spending money: Take enough local
(Euros) currency for at least ten days. ATMs are everywhere.
- Do not use traveller cheques.
- Check with your bank regarding
using ATMs or bank machines in Europe. You will likely only have access to
one account while in Europe.
- Be sure to take adapter plugs and
converters for your electrical.(Would be best if you shared these as per
rooming assignments)
